Testimonials from our Happy Customers! (archives)
Due to the sheer number of pictures and comments from our Customers, we have created the archive page of our older testimonials. But, they are just as cute as the new ones!
**Note: It has been a few years since we have raised other breeds besides Yorkies. We have decided to only post the testimonials from our Yorkie customers. We would like to thank of all of our customers of the past for your kind comments! If you are ever looking for a Yorkie, please give us a call!

Dear Knapp Creek family -

We want you to know how much we love our Cooper! His parents are Charlie and Johnie. He is such a smart dog, full of personality and love. Of course, he is our watch dog for squirrels and rabbits! Thank you again for having such quality, wonderful dogs! Wishing the best for you and your families!

... her name is Gracie Martini Wright! I've attached two pictures one playing with her big sister Abbey and the other she is sitting on my shoulder. I just love her to death, she so sweet, if we could just get her to stop putting EVERYTHING in her mouth it would be great!
Dear Joe and Connie,

We cannot tell you how much we love our little Miley (birth parents Waldo & Eloise.)  We adopted her in June and she has made herself at home here in San Diego.  She loves running in the grass and is quite the tomboy. As you originally estimated, she has remained pretty small and is only 3.5 lbs at 7 months. We have had SO many people tell us how adorable she is and what great temperament she has. She acts like a big dog in a little package and we can't believe how smart she is.  She picks up tricks almost instantly and is nearly fully potty
trained! (Still has accidents on the tile when mom or dad don't get to the door fast enough.)  We hung a bell by the front door that she rings when she wants to go outside! We couldn't ask for a more perfect dog, or a better little buddy!  From the bottom of our hearts, thank you!
Joe and Connie, Wanted to send a recent picture of Buster who just now reached 4 pounds and is now 1 1/2 years old. Even at 4 pounds he thinks he can scare neighborhood dogs 10 to 20 times his weight with his ferocious bark. He thinks he is the boss of our house and we let him think so too. He is great with all the grandkids and strangers alike.  His mom was Gesha and dad was Benji.   Thanks again for such a quality yorkie....

Dear Joe and Connie:

I wanted to share a picture of our two “Knapp Creek Darlings.”  Izzy, our Yorkie, is on the left. She just turned a year old on October 3, and we will celebrate her “Gotcha Day” on December 6.  Chloe, on the right, is our Morkie. (We think she resembles her dad, Tucker, who is featured on your website!)   She was three in May.  They are buddies who love to cuddle together, and we get a good laugh every time Izzy decides to upend Chloe by sticking her head under her ribs and taking her right off her feet.  We are thrilled with both of them and grateful to you for giving them such a great start!

Joe and Connie,   The kids got their Halloween Costumes and tried them on early for pictures.  They do tolerate our strange requests well, don't they.  Wesley, as the Tin Man, doesn't seem too happy, but Maggie seems to be getting the Halloween concept down.  Her only complaint is that her basket won't hold too many doggie treats. They are great dogs and we still think of you every time someone talks about getting a Yorkie.

Dear Joe, Connie and Ruth;

Attached is my photograph for  Paws for Pictures.  One year ago,  I found you folks on the net, spotted Chase and, as they say, “the rest is history.”  In less than a year, I visited two more times and have Chloe’ and Cayton!  I look through the other “Paws” pictures and feel compelled to  repeat many of the same comments!  I am sure, I am your biggest fan!  Everywhere I go with my puppies people smile, want to pet them, say what wonderful dispositions they have, how cute they are and where do I get one!  Of course, I recommend Knapp Creek.  It must be said,  that for a husband that didn’t want one puppy,  and who now has three, we are truly blessed. We owe you folks a great deal of gratitude for breeding, and offering for sale such outstanding Yorkshire Terriers!  Please feel free have any potential buyer call me if you need any type of reference!  Best Regards!

Okay! Here she is, in all her precious cuteness! You have my permission to publish our story and pictures on your web site. I'm looking forward to seeing it. I hope all is well and drying up enough to enjoy the sweet corn, tomatoes and the heavenly peace that only Iowa's country setting can bring.

Hi Joe and Connie:

Here are some pictures of Kenny (my new puppy from you folks) and Stevie, his half brother, also one of your Yorkies, now 13 months!    Both of these little boys are so handsome, extremely friendly and full of life.  They love to play together!  I 'm so happy that I decided to get Kenny from you so they can grow up together.  You may use these pictures and my comments on your website if you wish.  Thanks for all you do to insure that your puppies are healthy and happy.  They are the best!

Wanted to send you pictures of Milly and Molly taken the day before their first birthday.  We adopted them on September 10th 2007.  Their parents are Gussie and Ruby.  Milly now weights a little over 5.5 lbs and Molly weights a little less.  They are busy girls, but we enjoy them very much.
Milly (left) and Molly (right)
Hello Joe and Connie!

I was so glad to read that you all made it through the horrible weather that was going on!  Little Molly is just amazing!  She is the beautiful daughter of Kaylyn and Benji!  We have had her for a little over a year now and she has added so much joy to our life!  She is 5 lbs of spunk and personality!  I attached a couple recent pictures for you all to post on your website!  I am forever grateful to you for breeding such a perfect puppy for my family!
Scrappy Doo has been a wonderful addition to our family this weekend.
He is adjusting well. I didn't realize that the vet's office would be
so packed after the holiday. We are getting him in today with a
different vet today.

Thanks Again!

Connie & Joe Reece here. I am 2 years old now and all grown up happy and healthy. I like to take long walks, play in the yard and sleep. My family tells everyone if they are looking for a puppy Knapp Creek is the best.

i Joe & Connie- This is Izabel. She has been a part of our family since 2003.  She has such a great temperment and is just wonderful with our girls.  She thinks she is much bigger than her size.  She loves the "chase game" with our youngest daughter.  Izabel is always the chaser--and yes, the barking goes along with the game as the two tear around the house.  This has been a game at our house for the past 4 years.  For those that do not see or hear it regularly think of it as chaos!  And it is--but it is also very cute to see Izabel bounce and chase around like a kangaroo. We are still being stopped for people to see and pet Izabel.  They all think she is still a puppy.  She now weighs in at 5.5#.  Her parents are Alvin & Gwena.  Are they still around? Thanks so much for providing such nice pets!

Hey All!

We just wanted everyone to see how insanely cute our little puppy is that we got from you last Christmas. She was a surprise wedding gift that came on Christmas! Her name is Subaru and she's spunky, caring, and never ever runs out of energy to play with our 5 year old jack russel Ritter.  Our little Subie is the best addition to our family and now we're adding a new addition.  We're pregnant for the first time and we know that she's going to love the baby.
Subie thinks she's about 50lbs. more than she actually is (which is only 4lbs).  She plays with my parents' German Short Hair Hazel who's 65 lbs. and my brothers new Braque puppy Daschel who's 50 lbs.!  Subaru is the happiest little puppy who loves attention and loves to play.  We thank you guys so much for being great breeders.  We don't know what we'd do without her!

Hi Joe and Connie!

I just wanted to give you a little update on Howie, who I bought from you guys almost 2 years ago. He instantly became a part of the family and wins over everyone he meets! He has the greatest personality, and I couldn't ask for anything more in a puppy!! Thanks again for such a great pup!!

Here is a new picture of Sweetie. She is now almost 2 ½ years old. She weighs just under 6 lbs. She had so much fun this winter playing out in the snow. Just wanted to say thanks again for our sweet little girl!

Hello Joe and Connie,
Sending you pictures to share on your web site of
Sophie born Nov. 17th 2005. Adopted Jan. 27th 2006. She is a puppy from Merrilee and Dimitrik. Needless to say we love her and couldn't be happier with her. She is very spoiled and goes every where with me and gets ohhed and yawed over all the time. She is adjusting to sharing my lap with the two new grandbabies in the family. Sophie loves to take walks and hunt the rabbits and squirrels. Her main job is to lick the plates in the house whenever we are finished eating. She will bark at the counter where the plate is until you put it down for her to lick. I would love to take her to the dog show in the Amanas this year. I try to keep watching your website for the dates of the show and I put myself on your e-mail list in the fall when theAPR show was advertised. I could not make that one but hope to make one this year. Please if you can notify me when a show is coming up. Enjoy the pictures of Sophie and please share them on your site.

Joe,

Just wanted to thank you again for our little princess Maggie. She is a absolutely wonderful asset to our family. She is spoiled and is such an intelligent little girl. I know that if I purchase another yorkie it will definitely be from Knapp Creek. I wanted to send you a couple pictures of Maggie and let you know that she is wonderful. One of them is of her sleeping in my daughters bed...Thanks again

Hi Knapp Creek

My name is Little Casey and I was adopted in December of 2006.  My birth parents were Jeannie and Pepito. I am a big boy now and weigh about 8 pounds.  I like to play toys and chase leaves that blow in the wind.
My Mommy says thank you for breeding such beautiful and healthy puppies and she is so happy to have me.  Maybe some day I can get a little sister from you?
My Mommy also said that you can post my pictures on your website so that other people can see your beautiful Yorkies.

Little Casey
Joe and Connie,

We just wanted to say thank you for our wonderful puppy.  He is a great addition to our family.  Our two girls love to play dress up with him and he doesn't seem to mind.  He just loves the attention.  He is coming out of his shyness little by little.  He really comes out of his shell when he has playdates with his buddies...which are also yorkies.

We took a picture of him and thought we would share it with you.  He is just way too cute!!

Again, thank you and we are spreading your name around Sioux Falls!!

Hello Joe and Connie,
It has been about three years now almost since we got our little boy from you.  "Snickers", he is such a sweet boy.  Potty training was a little bit of a challenge, but we mastered that and now he just wants to cuddle with us and go for car rides anytime we go somewhere.  So thank you for such a great companion.
Also he is awesome with my two small children, which is so great. They love to hug him and play with him. Thanks again.
Hi Joe and Connie,
I just wanted to send you an updated picture of Buster. He will be 2 in November. He is a wonderful dog. We Love him very much!!!

Hi folks,
We bought Sasquatch from you in April and Yeti in November of 2006.  We couldn't be happier with these new additions to our family and thought it would be fun to send you pictures of our babies to put on the website.  Have a happy and prosperous new year!
Joe and Connie,
I wanted to send you an update and some pictures of the puppy I purchased from you in August 07. Her name is Coco Puff and she is Lee and Noel's female. She has been an amazing addition to my family. I recently found the health slip I should have sent you then but can assure you she has been perfectly healthy and adjusted to her new life very well. The groomer said she was "exceptional" in her demeanor and attitude. She is so funny! She is also quite the guard dog and thinks she is much larger than her 4lbs!
I've attached some pictures you have permission to post on your website. I know people think I'm biased, but I really do think she is the cutest Yorkie I've ever seen! If you know of anyone needing a Yorkie for any pictures please think of us as Puff would like to be famous. If you notice in one of the pictures her shirt says "local celebrity", which she is.
In another photo, she is playing with her best friend Princess, my parents bichon frise. They have regular play dates and always leave exhausted. At family gatherings, my nieces fight over who gets to hold her and she rarely walks anywhere!
Thank you so much for the wonderful dog. She makes me smile all the time. Thanks again and I will continue to send new photos!
Joe,

Attached are some pictures of the puppy you shipped to the Ontario, CA airport for me on Nov. 26. My fiance (Mercy) LOVES him. This little guy is personality plus! When she gets home from work he starts following around and waves his right paw at her as if to say, "HEY! PAY ATTENTION TO ME!" When he wants to be picked up, he'll stand on his back legs and wave his paws in the air. He HATES having things changed, especially if you move his bed away from the TV. On Christmas day Mercy took his favorite throw rug outside to clean it, and Kempee promptly turned around and ran off with one of her slippers! Even with 3 boys in the house, Kempee manages to keep everybody entertained (AND busy)!

Thanks for a great puppy! If you'd like to use any of these pictures on your web site, that's perfectly okay.  Wishing you a happy and healthy New Year

Hi Joe & Connie,
Sorry, the Christmas pic. is the best I could do w/a 17 mo. old grandson, who won't sit still and little Ms. Demi being so nosey.  Our Schnauzer, Bailey, was the poser.  Gave her a badly needed haircut, yesterday.  I took about 5 shots.  If Jamie gets a better pic. from her digital, I will forward it.

You have my permission to use both pics. on your website, as well as my daughter's.  No problem.

Hope u and your family have a blessed New Year.

Happy New Year, Joe & Connie!

Here is a pic. of Demi that I took on 1-5-08 - her official name is Connie's Precious Demi.  I have
received all my paperwork from APRI & United All Breed, so I'm good to go.

Joe & Connie,

Just looked at the web site and see that you have several puppies available from litters in October. Just wondering when you may be expecting your next litter. We are considering a playmate for Izabella (parents Robin & Lee). We picked her out in January 07 and we couldn't be happier. It's been quite a year with her in our lives and we are looking at expanding the family again. We think we'll want a male, however we're just not sure. Bella is doing great and is now at 4.5 pounds. I've attached a photo of her on vacation with us this last summer in Wisconsin. She loves camping and riding on the bicycle.
HI, I PURCHASED A PUPPY EARLY THIS YEAR FOR MY LITTLE GIRL[ELIZA] HE IS PERFECT, WE NAMED HIM SCRAPPY, THE PAPERWORK SAYS YOU WERE THE BREEDER, HE WAS BORN ON 12/26/06 # 087-310-594. WELL, HIS BIRTHDAY IS IN 3 DAYS, AND WE WANTED TO LET YOU KNOW THAT HE WILL BECOME A FATHER IN ABOUT A MONTH, WE HAVE A GIRL YORKIE ABOUT 8 MONTHS OLDER THAN HIM, SHE HAD A PLAYMATE, BUT HE DIED WHEN A SNOWPLOW HIT HIM AT LAST YEARS LAST SNOWFALL.  WE ARE PROUD OF LITTLE SCRAPPY, HE ALWAYS WANTS TO PLAY OUTSIDE, HE CHASES ALL THE SQUIRRELS AND ANIMALS OUT OF THE YARD, HE ACTUALLY TRAINED MUCH EASIER THAN OUR GIRL [KRYSTAL] DOG. WHEN YOU HEAR THE SAYING, WERE YOU BORN ON THE FARM? THAT'S SCRAPPY TO A 'T'.  HE JUST LOVES TO PLAY, HE EVEN DOES TRICKS THAT WE NEVER TAUGHT HIM, DON'T MEAN TO GUSH.....BUT THANX
Hello, Joe and Connie
I thought I would send some pictures of Jada.  She has become a member of the family.  She really is a little person. We love her so much, and am grateful for a wonderful and loving dog. She is so beautiful and smart.  Thanks

Hello Connie, Joe and Family!

Here are a couple Christmas pictures of little Molly!  I saw that someone posted that they wished people would put their dogs parents, so I am going to do that!!
Molly's Mom- Kaylyn
Molly's Dad- Benji
D.O.B- 3/1/07

Merry Christmas!!
Joe and Connie,

This is a picture of our pup, Maisy Mae.  We got her from you in April 07. She is now 10 months old.  Her parents are Daisy and Houston. She is 5.9 pounds.  She is a wonderful addition to our family of six.  I don't  know what we did before we had her.  She brings so much joy to all of us.  Thank you so much for the beautiful puppy.  She has such a great personality and she follows me everywhere.  She is great company.  You may use this photo on your website.  Thanks again!

Hello to everyone at Knapp Creek again,
I have updated pictures of Roxy and now Chico! Roxy will be a year old December 5th and Chico is 9 months old. Roxy is my little diva and Chico is my goof ball! He always looks like he is smiling. They are from different litters but get along so great! They are my angels! I wouldn't know what to do without them!

P.S. They love the beach here in California!
Hi Joe and Connie,
My giving you positive feedback was the least that I could do!  I could not have asked for a better online experience.  If you ever need a reference, please do not hesitate to use me.  Cinnamon was and continues to be very healthy and alert.  She's my little body guard, my mood lifter and little miss priss all wrapped up in a 4lbs 9oz red haired package!  I am always looking at your babies forever hopeful that you will one day have another "special" baby.  HINT!  HINT!!!  Cinnamon and I are looking for a little chocolate sister.  So, please keep us in mind.  Here is are a few pictures of her all grown up!  Isn't she just gorgeous?!?!
HI GUYS,

OUR DAUGHTERS GAVE US THIS BEAUTIFUL PUPPY IN LATE SEPTEMBER WHEN WE HAD TO PUT OUR DOG OF 14 YEARS TO SLEEP.  THE GIRLS GREW UP WITH A YORKIE AND KNEW WE WOULD LOVE HIM.  I CAN'T TELL YOU HOW MUCH THIS LITTLE GUY MEANS TO US.  WE ABSOLUTELY LOVE HIM TO DEATH.  I HOPE YOU HAVE RECEIVED THE COPY OF THE RECORDS YOU REQUESTED.  HE HAS HAD ALL HIS SHOTS AND TESTS AND IS 100% PERFECT.  HIS NAME IS SPARKEY AND WE WANT YOU TO KNOW HE HAS A LOVING HOME AND WE THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS FOR DOING SUCH A GREAT JOB WITH YOUR BREEDING INTEGRITY.

WE WISH YOU ALL A HAPPY HOLIDAY SEASON

Good afternoon, Joe & Connie.

We purchased our puppy in June (Father’s Day weekend). We named him Deejay and wanted to give you a picture of him now. He’s 7 months old now.

Here’s how he looked his first month at home (14 weeks old)

Hi Joe,

Thanks for talking to us tonight, we really appreciate all your help. Could you please email us a picture of Kaylyn, we would greatly appreciate it.  I have attached a couple of pictures of our beautiful baby boy Dante that we purchased from you on 12/30/04.
Hello!
I just wanted to write a quick note telling you how much I love my puppies....they have brought a lot of happiness to my family!

I am very happy that I came back for a second puppy....they are such a joy to have!

I have enclosed a picture of them....Wiggles and Willie!  They are about approx. 3.5 pounds each.

If you would like to post them on your web site, please feel free to do so!

Thank you once again!  I love them dearly!
Hello my name is Chulo. I am currently 3.7lbs. My new mommy and Auntie love me very much. I love them and they take very good care of me. I am enrolled in puppy classes and have developed a love for shopping because people in the mall love to pet me and tell me how cute I am. I am a local celebrity and a dance team mascot. My mommy said I could share my information and put my picture on the website. Thank You! Knapp Creek our family is very happy.
Greetings!!
Here is a picture of Kahne, I brought him home in May 06'. He is only 4 pounds!!! We have recently moved to Mooresville, North Carolina.  Kahne misses his friends back home but has made new ones.  Hope all is well.

Joe
Here is a new picture of Wesley and Maggie I thought we'd share with you.  Wesley is a very serious little boy; protective of his "sister and mom", but still enjoys chasing butterflies around the yard.  We walk a mile per day so he can keep his figure of 6 lbs.  Magnolia, like her name, is a delicate flower.  She likes to romp in the yard with our Springer Spaniel, who will stop so she can catch up.  At 3.5 lbs., Maggie isn't up to our mile walks and if we take her, she gets carried half way home.  Both were very easy to house break and have excellent temperaments with the neighborhood kids.  They are spoiled, of course, but do well together all day while we are at work.  Yorkies should always come in pairs! Thank you for two great kids!
Joe and family, want to thank you for breeding such great puppies. I adopted Gizmo last February and he is quite a little ham. He loves car rides and trips to my Grandma's assisted living facility. He brightens everyone's day when we visit. He is always ready to play games and give "kisses."  I have attached a picture of Gizmo and his Great Grandma from last Easter. The second picture he is showing off his new polo this August. His parents were Bernie and Ruby. He will be 1 year old at the end of November and he's 5 pounds now. If I get my way, my boyfriend Kevin and I will be making a trip down soon to get a little brother or sister for Gizmo!
Dear Knapp Creek,
Here are some pictures of the puppy we got from you a few months ago. We named him Mack. He almost weighs 8 lbs. now. He is very playful and snoopy, but he is just so cute. Everyone loves to pet and play with him, and we get lots of compliments on how cute he is. We enjoy him so much and loves his company every day. The only thing is he wants to play with our cat but she doesn't like him that much, otherwise he is the perfect puppy. Thank you so much for the wonderful puppy.

Love, Mack and family

Hello to everyone at Knapp Creek~

I purchased Roxy from you in March 2007. Here she is now weighing in at a whole 3.2 lbs. She has become such an important part of our lives (my husband and I). We take her everywhere we go! We are also awaiting the arrival of our new puppy from you! We just love your Yorkies! Thank you so much!

Hi Joe and Connie,

Just wanted to drop you a line and let you know that I am settling into my new home with my mom, Kay, and Buster the Bichon who has taken on the role of Guardian Angel.  Life is great and we hope all is well for you and family!

 Tucker

Joe and Connie,

I can't thank you enough for the beautiful puppy!  Molly is doing so good in her new home!  She cried a little last night but fell asleep pretty quick.
Here is a picture of her at her new home!

Thank you again!  She is everything I could have ever dreamed of and more!

Happy Memorial Day!!  Here is a festive picture of Molly!! I weighed her this morning and she weighed 2.2 pounds!  She is finally gaining weight!! God Bless!

Hi Joe & Connie,

I wanted to let you know we have had Sadie for a year and a half and she is just as much a part of the family as our other two children!  She is smart, playful, energetic and beautiful! (I know I am bias, but I think Sadie is the most precious one of ALL Yorkie's I've seen) She loves to snuggle and is just a real joy for everyone who is around her.  She prances when she walks with her head held high and loves to do little tricks like say "please" for a cookie (dog treat), sit, and give kisses.  Her parents were Dimitrik & Lilly.

Thank you so much for bringing such joy to our home!

Sherry, Ryan, Raven, Cory
PS - I wish more people would post who the parents were so I could see how much alike Sadie looks to them.

Dear Joe & Family.

Here's an update on Tucker. He is a little cutie. He learned the house rules fast. He was potty trained within the first two or three weeks. WOW. Him and my other dog, Koda, get along GREAT.

He is almost 6 months old & he is only about 3.5 pounds. My whole family adores him! He is so funny. He only barks when you play around with him. But otherwise, he's pretty quite. I wouldn't trade him for the world!

When I took him in for a wellness check up, the Dr. Said he was in wonderful condition & I wouldn't have any problems with him.

He's still a little shaggy, haven't had much time to get him a hair cut, but I think its cute... he will be getting a hair cut soon. I will keep you updated.

Thank you so much for my little bandit, Tucker is such a pleasure!
Hi Joe and Connie:

Here is a picture of Stevie which we took last week. His right ear straightened up a few days ago and stayed there.  He is such a sweet boy and handsome too!  He seemed so relaxed and comfortable right from the first day he arrived here, including seeing my two cats and Australian Cattle Dog (I don't let him run loose around them yet as he's so small.)  I feel so fortunate to have found you and him.  Thanks again for all you did to make his trip here so easy.  You may use his picture and any of my past or present comments for your website.  I hope I can get another puppy from you folks sometime as company for Stevie.

Hi folks:

Here's another picture -- this one shows his ear up!
He's wonderful -- Thanks again.

My daughter purchased a female from you and she is just adorable.  We enjoy her sooo much and I have decided I would like to purchase a Yorkie in the future.  I hope you will still be in business within the next few years.  We now have three dogs, a Doberman, Corgi and Jack Russell.  Since we are at our limit now I will have to wait.  :)  Here is a picture of Leila driving.  This picture was taken when I helped Emilee move out to AZ last year.  Leila is a crack up.  This picture below was taken when we were sightseeing in Old Towne Scottsdale after Leila got her puppie hair cut.
These are pics of the new addition to the family.   As you can see, Gina is dressing the little one up already but he doesn't like it too much.  He literally runs out of the sleeves.  She decided on the name Roo because he jumps like a kangaroo everywhere he goes outside.  The same as Bugsy when she was a pup but that name was already taken. :)  She wanted to name him HEY YOU but I wouldn't let her.  Just kidding.  We love him and he's already attached to Gina because he follows her everywhere.

Joe & Family-  I thought it was high time we drop you a note and a picture of the boys for your website.    Teddy & Henry are 14 months old now and don't they look handsome?  Although Henry has a shorter body than Teddy they both weigh in at 4.5 pounds each.   I cannot begin to tell you the joy and fun they have brought into our home.   We are so delighted that we couldn't make up our mind and ended up getting both of them.  They are the best of buddies and constantly entertain each other as well as everyone else.   They just made their first big road trip (5 hour drive) and hotel stay.  They had a great time and were so well behaved everyone was amazed.   They took everything in stride and when they spied the long hotel hallway they thought they'd found the best pup highway they'd ever seen.   In spite of the typical hotel noises of slamming doors and ice machines they were quiet and relaxed and had a great time on their adventure.   Thank you so much for all of your guidance and advice along the way.  If Herb has his way, we'll be adding another friend for them down the road.
Joe and Connie,

Joe ,if you remember our daughter ( the one in this pic) had lost a Yorkie and it had been 11 years before she wanted to risk a loss like that again...when we were at you place once you went out and brought up a bunch of Yorkie puppies in an apron and put them on the ground for her. About a year later she bought her first Yorkie. I would like to share their names with you if I could because they are unique names that refer back to her first Yorkie that died. Full names are Sadie Hope for the future Heaven Lee Whispers of the Past, this is the one she got from you! Please note that Lilly is my Porkie that I got from you. She is the nicest, smartest most wonderful dog!!! Enjoy the pic and know that they are loved every minute! Thanks for all your help and Connie's with my new Yorkie granddaughter.

Well hello there!  Just wanted to thank you all for breeding such wonderful puppies!  We bought our first puppy from you in July of 2005 and loved him so much that we had to come back for one more just 1 year later!  They are such sweet babies and we enjoy having them in our lives so much!  Here are a few pictures.  Bruiser, 2 years, is on the John Deer getting ready to help grandpa in the yard.  Boxer, 1 year, ALWAYS has his tongue hanging out--and it's a very LOOONG tongue!  Thank you again!
Well Joe and Family, I am six today!  We will be going to the ice cream drive in this evening for my birthday treat.  Life's been great, I am still in charge of the family and running things around here.  Have an occasional squirrel or rabbit run through the yard and give an occasional chase, they scamper right up the nearest tree or run through the fence.  I sleep in most days, my mom retired last year; but she is quiet and let's me sleep.  My folks were Herr Von Tobias and Herrin Erica of Knapp Creek, they would be eleven and near ten by now!  I never had a family of my own, mom wanted me to remain the baby, and she tends to talk to me like one.  She spends a lot of time on the computer and I lay on her feet, she likes that in the winter.  Well Joe I haven't been by for a while, and wanted to let you know some of us older dogs are still around and keeping people in control.  I let them know when I don't approve of their doings, they seem to have become pretty well trained people as far as I can tell; so yes I have a good home and I intend to keep them around! You take care Joe, and keep those pups in line, CoCo
This is PJ (named after his parents Pepito and Jeannie).  He's our Knapp Creek Yorkie.  We have another too but she came from a previous farm.  They are fun and loving dogs but boy do they get into mischief.  They are always busy trying to find rabbits and chipmunks.  They've even tangled with groundhogs.  The word "munk"
causes a 4-bell alarm in our house. We sure love our pint-sized hunters!
Here is a picture of a puppy I had shipped to me in Boston July 1st. He has brought so much into my life. I must say Knapp Creek made the entire process so easy I would recommend them to anyone. Thanks again for my Max-he has been with me for over 3 weeks now and is already housebroken, knows his name, plays fetch and has made so many friends at the dog park. He is so cute and loved by all. Thanks again for my puppy and I will send anyone who wants a puppy your way!
Hello!
We just wanted to send some updated pictures of Cody.  We picked him up in December of '03 and can't imagine life without him!  He's been holding at 10 lbs, but he certainly doesn't look like he weighs that much.  Thanks again!
Joe and Connie,

Thanks again for such a beautiful and healthy puppy! :)  She has a name now.  She is called "Suzy."  I snapped some pictures of her and her new mommy.
We've had Isabella for a little over a month now. She's healthy and has fit in with our family very good. She loves playing with her brother, Cookie (Schnoodle), but Cookie sometimes gets a little annoyed with all of her energy, but they're becoming best friends. We looked everywhere and had a hard time finding a female yorkie but then we came across your site and found what we were looking for right away. We tell everyone looking for a dog to come here. Thank you so much.
Pic of Mahdi, we bought 3 years ago!!

Hello,
Attached, I have included a photo of our "Little Casey".  We adopted him on this past December 1st after we lost our 9 year old Yorkie, Mikie to cancer.  While we still miss Mikie very much, but I can't imagine not having Casey.  He is such a joy and full of "puppy power" energy.  He gets along with our 6 year old Cocker Spaniel, Alex, very well also.   I have told so many people about you folks and the wonderful puppies that you raise.  And, to date, a co-worker of mine came to visit you back in February and adopted a little boy.  Also, a co-worker of my husbands is coming down this week to adopt a little girl.  Casey weighs just under 7#'s now.  He's very happy and healthy.
Thank you so much for our "Little Casey".

Here is Maxwell at 3.5 pounds; I'll send another pic soon, because it appears his ears are perking up after all.  You have permission to put  this on your site.  He was easy as pie to housetrain, and only had two "accidents" in the 3 weeks we've had him home.  Such a clever boy.  He's taking puppy socialization class and we enjoy the fact he's not a yapper. That's important, because I've had to have him at my office several days while my car was in the shop.  Not a peep. Regards to Tucker and Pearl.

Hi Joe and Connie.  Am attaching some pictures of Penny.  She  is now 5 1/2 months old and weighs 4.9 lbs.  She had her well puppy check last Thursday along with a grooming....... I still am very much interested in showing her in November in the Amana's and possibly at Humboldt.  I have read the rules of APRI and see no problems with them.  We keep all her health records in the folder you gave us when we purchased her and have kept everything up to date.  I will see how she comes through surgery and progresses with obedience training before I register her for the show.  I want her to be able to handle being around other dogs and people before I commit to a show.

Hope you had a blessed Easter and all is going well at Knapp Creek.  I sure enjoy your website and hope that your retired Yorkie gets a good home.  We sure enjoy Penny.  Thanks-will keep in touch to let you know how she is doing.  You can use these pictures if you desire to put on your website.

Hi Everyone,
We couldn't be more pleased with our little Daisy!  She is already an important member of our family and is loved so much, we can't imagine our home without her.  Thank you so much for the great job you do and the program that you have.  Our vet said Daisy is perfect and choosing Knapp Creek was a smart decision.  We'll keep in touch, please tell Ruth HI and you have our permission to post us on the website.
Thought I would finally write and send you pictures of our Molly that we purchased in April 2005. She is so smart and my husband was so shocked that she was potty broke in just 2 weeks. She is now 2 and weighs 8 pounds. The weird thing about this is she was born February 11 2005 and that is the day that my uncle passed away after battling with cancer, and we were very close. So my husband and I tell everyone that the Lord took uncle Chuck and sent us Molly in his place. And we are very thankful, we love them both so much, my uncle had a lot of spunk for 78 years old and our Molly is just as spunky as he was. I give you my permission to put this on your website. We just wanted to thank you both for having such great litters, and giving us such a smart and wonderful dog. My 13 year old granddaughter lives with us, and she loves her dearly also. Thanks again!
Hi! My name is Bailey and I am a little boy pup. My mommy and daddy got me from Knapp Creek in December and this is my first picture. They love me so much, they are going to buy me a brother!   They said it was OK to put my picture on your website.

Bailey

Everyone at Knapp Creek,

We just wanted to send you some pictures of the dogs that we purchased from you.  We enjoy them very much.  Tinker our Yorkie is 3 years old and our Yorktese Taffie and Charlie, will be 1 year in May.

Thank you

Hello Knapp Creek,
We just wanted to Thank You for the great experience that we had at Knapp Creek. We are very happy with the new little addition to our family! Buster is very playful and happy and has adapted to his new family very well. He is very smart as we even litter trained him within three weeks. We are now working on teaching him new commands like Sit, Stay, Fetch, etc. Here is a picture just after his first haircut. As you can see from the picture, he is irresistibly adorable!!! Thanks again.

Joe and Connie-

Sorry for the delay in sending pictures. Sammi (Selma) is AMAZING! Recently took her on a 6hr road trip from NYC to Montreal Canada. She enjoyed riding in the convertible, was loved by ALL at the hotel, and walked around with me everywhere proud and happy. You'll see that I cut her hair - easier to maintain. She truly is the BEST dog in the world.

Joe & Connie,
Thanks for the email. I will definitely follow up with you in a couple weeks.  I am not 100% sure I am ready to get another puppy, but I have been considering it.  I would be looking for one in the same price range (ie bigger in size) as bigger is my preference. How big is Benji?  I remember Kaylyn being around 7lbs or so? Right now, Kinney is at about 6 1/2 lbs.  I am not sure he is going to get much bigger.  Regardless, he has been a wonderful addition to my household, so thanks!
Dear Mr. Joe   I want to thank you for the puppy. We named her Jettie Rose. Matthew fell in love with her at first sight. She took straight to him. As soon as I put her on his lap she was kissing him all over. Its like she knew she was home with him. We had to go show her off to all of his friends. She sat right on his tray. Its like she knew where her seat was. She didn't try to jump down or nothing. Its like she knows there is something wrong with Matthew. I can't  THANK-YOU enough for the smile you have brought to his face. Here are some pics that I took after she came home. THANK -YOU so much.
Dear Knapp Creek, Thank you for making this Christmas even more special.  We purchased Hank from you this past summer from the Dimitrik and Megan litter.  He is an absolute joy, even when he is terrorizing his big sister, Lola!  Attached you will find a picture of the two of them.
I just wanted to write to you to tell you how happy we are with our new puppy.  Her name is Sweetie Pie and she is 8 months old and weighs 5lbs 2oz.   She is the sweetest thing.  And as you can see my daughter loves her.  Thank you so much for our new family member.
Hi Joe and Connie,

Here are a couple pictures of Baxter and Bailey for you to put on your "paws for pictures" if you wish.  They are both about a year old now and doing well.  Baxter is between 6 and 7 pounds and bailey is just over 8 pounds.  Baxter is the Yorkie from Pepito and Shanda, and Bailey is the Yorktese from Victor and Greta.  Everyone always asks what kind of dog Bailey is and where you can get one.   We always send them to you guys.  Thanks for breeding such great dogs.

Hi Joe. This is Tammy. I just brought Max today to the vet for a check-up. Everything's fine, just wanted to let you know ahead of time. I will mail the paperwork to you after Thanksgiving. Our family really loves Max, our new baby! Thanks for a wonderful, healthy puppy. Recently, we took some pictures of him, just wanted to send them to you. He now weighs 3 1/2 lbs. You can post his picture on your website if you want to. Wishing you and the family to have a Happy Thanksgiving!!
Duffy is just GREAT. He is joy to own and rules the roost here. Thank You
Joe, Connie, Wayne, and Becky,

Thank you all for taking such FANTASTIC care of all your puppies.  Mia came home with us in July and has been such a great puppy!  She's 7 months old now and weighs 6 lbs.  She very rarely barks, never bites, and loves to be around new people.  We sometimes wonder if she's part cat when she sits up in our windowsill or pounces on her toys.  She saw snow for the first time today and I had a hard time getting her to come back in the house.  She just loved running around the yard in it!  We hope to come back and get her a little friend in a couple of years when we finish college! Thank you again!
Dear Knappcreek,

We purchased Reece in March of 2006. He is now 6lbs and 9 months old. He has been a wonderful addition to our family and cannot imagine a day without him. Anyone interested in a Yorkie we suggest they call you and visit. Your pups are the best and dealing with you could not have been easier.

Thanks again.

Hi all,

Just wanted to say thank you, for such a great little baby boy. Micah has added so much to Sophie and my life.  He is energetic, happy and such a joy to have. He is a great little traveler also. Micah an Sophie are best buddies now, just what my older gal needed to perk up. The three of us are quite a team. thank you so much for this little bundle of love, an happiness.

Greetings Knapp Creek!

We have had our little puppy for almost a month now and life has been great.  Chopper adds so much joy to our lives.  He is well behaved, loves to play, and is doing well with training.  He’s such a smart puppy and loves to be the center of attention.  I was so impressed with the overall package when we went through the process of picking out our puppy up until the day we brought him home.  You truly care about the well being of the puppy and appreciate your responses on my questions after we brought Chopper home.  Hope you like the picture!  My husband’s uncle has a studio in his basement, what perfected sized props for a Yorkie!!

This is a new picture of Kody (left) and Kaden (right).  "The Boys" are brothers from Melita and Willie.  Kody will be 2 tomorrow and Kaden will be 3 in November.   They are extremely close and can't be anywhere without each other.  The picture attached is the two of them on their second wilderness camping trip in Ontario, Canada.  They are sitting on the boat seat waiting for us to finish fishing so they can go back to camp and chase pine squirrels.
Hello,

Here are new pictures of Coco who recently celebrated her 4th birthday.
She's a wonderful little girl and is more precious with every passing year.
Thanks again.

Hi Joe,

This is a picture of Buster the night he received his “Canine Good Citizen Award.”  It’s a major hurdle in getting him certified as a Therapy Dog.  He is the best dog, thanks again.

Knapp Creek Family –

Jeff and I purchased Buster from you in October 2005.  We wanted to share pictures of our military deployment in Germany.  We were able to escape a couple of weekends to travel to Amsterdam and Paris.  Buster had a fantastic time.  The Europeans love dogs and Buster was greeted at restaurants and stores with treats and bowls of water.  He has been to the top of the Arc de Triomphe in Paris, smelled the tulips in the fields at Lisse, and hiked many a hill to visit German castles.  He is a fantastic traveler and flyer.  We are so very happy to have him. Thank you for your help with travel requirements to Europe and of course…a wonderful dog!

Buster has finished advanced puppy school training and he will be attending classes next month for the Canine Good Citizenship.  We’ll keep you posted.

We just wanted to update you on how our little scamp is doing. He is the center of attention where ever we go!  Everyone asks us were we found him and we give you all the highest of praises. We could not imagine a day with out him he is so funny! He is so well behaved he is going to his litter box and loves his treat (Nutrical) We cannot believe that he is already 7 months old now. And he weighs in at a whopping 3 1/2 pounds! He loves to go camping and riding with us were ever we go! He sleeps at the foot of the bed and wakes us up with his loving little kisses at 8:00am Sharp to go downstairs to use his litter box! He was the perfect addition to our family thank you so much for providing such a wonderful little friend!
Hi Joe and Family.

I just wanted to send you an update and let you know how happy I am with my family since they adopted me in Jan. 2005. I will be 2 in Oct. and I am the most pampered little "special" Yorkie princess that you can imagine. I go everywhere with mama. Her best friends even have doggie toys for me to play with when we go there! I'm a very smart pup, and I love to play "fetch the toy"  -  I even will throw the toy up in the air and then chase it all by myself if mama is busy, and ice cubes are one of my favorite things on a hot Colorado summer day! They tell me that they just can't imagine life without me. How's THAT for a compliment! A few weeks ago I got a new baby sister! She's a malti-poo and we named her Sammie. We are best friends now and have so much fun playing together. I got on mama's computer and found this picture of us to send to you so that you can post it on your picture web page. Hugs and kisses to my biological mama and papa.

Love, Riley (aka Pookie Bear)

Here are some pics of Rayne and Austin.  They have brought lots of joy to me and my family.  Even my mom who doesn't like animals.  Rayne's ears have finally stood up.  Austin is lost without Rayne and vice versa.  Thanks and I will be sending you some pics of Deja, my son's puppy.
We got our wonderful dog Miko in April and he is exactly what a family needs. He is about 15 weeks old! and weighs about 4 1/2 lbs! hes full of energy and loves to run around, sleep, and play with a close friends shih tzu. He's a joy to our family thank you so much for this job

p.s he loves to chew on the greenies!!!

Hi Joe and Family,

Here is a picture of our Bella. We got Bella from Knapp Creek in 2004 and she is our little baby. Bella brings joy in to our lives everyday. She is a perfect dog and we have talked about getting another puppy from Knapp Creek. Bella lives with our pug Cleo and they get along great. Bella is definitely the princess of the house. Thank you for blessing our lives with Bella.

We received Olivene in October of 2005. Adam and I feel she is the best decision we ever made! We have other family members begging to "babysit" for us all the time. Olivene is a happy pup and goes with us everywhere. She loves riding in the car on my shoulder and playing with her best friend Buckman, a 4 year old Golden Retriever! Thank you a million for giving us our Olivene!
Hi, I'm Summer Faye. My parents are Arnie and Macy. I am 6 months old now. I just returned from a checkup and I weigh a whopping 2.5 pounds. My family really takes good care of me.  Mom just made me this sweater. Although I could do without these silly pants. But my brother won't seem to leave me alone. You outta see me scooting around trying to get them off. I think I'm pretty cute. Mom says so too.
Just wanted to thank you for breeding such wonderful puppies!!!  I got Brady
April 30, 2005 from my husband for our 2nd anniversary.  Brady is my only
child and you can bet that he is one pampered baby!!  He does everything
with us, including sleeping right in the middle of the bed, between my
husband and I, every night!  I cannot imagine my life without Brady as he
brings so much joy to our lives!  Thanks again and hopefully I can visit you
again for my 4th anniversary and get Brady a little sister!
Austin has adapted very well.  He has become king of the castle.

Thank you

Dear Joe and Family:

My husband and I purchased our Yorkie Max from you in November 2005, shortly after getting married. From the moment we saw his face at the airport we fell in love with our little Max. Max is loving, smart, playful and even sticks his tongue out at you. Max is now 6 months old weighing 5.8 lbs and loves to be the center of attention. Max loves to go shopping, on car rides and has even been on a plane to visit family in CA. We have given many people, including strangers your website as we are always asked where we got Max from. We are truly blessed to have Max in our life and we thank you for sending us a healthy puppy.

Here's pictures of the yorkie male I got from you a couple years ago. He's a mess, and sooooo spoiled.

Here is Mitzi in our kids playroom sleeping on a backpack!

Hi Joe,

It’s been 6 months since Carter and Belle made the long drive back to Chicago with us but it was more than worth it! They are both very happy and healthy dogs and we just love them to death. They are very well behaved and loving pups. Plus they are never lonely with each other to wrestle with (usually on top of one of us!). Thanks again for a great experience, we rave to everyone what a great operation you run!

Hello Knapp Creek,

Sending an update on our little Nikita.  We purchased her from you in March 2005 and she is my princess.  The first picture was taken in April 2005 last year in our back yard and I have been told by several people that I should enter it into a photo contest because she's just so darn cute!.....to our surprise in November she went through a false pregnancy.....We took her to the vet and he said she would start collecting things around the house and start nesting, and rather than come up with missing socks and such we took her to PetSmart and lined up stuffed animals on the floor for her to choose from.  She walked right over to a little puppy the same color as her and started cleaning it and just picked it up and walked away with it.....We brought her home with her new "puppy" and she went right up to her bed, thoroughly cleaned the "puppy" and then pushed it to her stomach so it could nurse.  It was the funniest thing we had ever seen........so that is the second picture.......Nikita being a good "mommy"....The last picture is April 2006 so you can see how much she's grown.  She loves people and kids (other dogs not so much, except her big sister Casey, and Australian Shepherd Black Lab Mix).  She was so easy to house break too......She has a favorite trick she likes to do for people.  I point my finger at her (like a gun) and say bang and she falls over dead.  She'll even do a few twitches to make it look good (she came up with that one on her own).  She is a very well traveled puppy too......It took  her awhile to get used to car rides.  She would get very nervous, but once she found out what dogs are supposed to do (hang your head out the window and feel the wind in your face) she loves it!  Thank you so much for my bundle of love!  I'm trying to convince my husband that we need to come get a little male now since we are planning to breed her in the next couple years.  Hopefully we'll be seeing you soon!

Good morning Joe & Connie,

It's been about one year since we came to Knapp Creek looking for a puppy (and went home with two) and we just wanted to thank you for such fantastic "fur kids."  I don't think we'd ever purchase a yorkie from another breeder. You really do breed the cutest, healthiest puppies we've ever seen!

Here is a picture of four of your puppies:  Winston, Fifi, Kirby, and
Charlotte.  Kirby was the "first" yorkie of the gang, if you remember, and then Peter and Yenny got Fifi the same day we picked out Winston and Charlotte.

We really appreciate your helpfulness and honesty!

Joe,

Lexi has been a wonderful addition to our family ... I will continue to spread nothing but praise and to your kennel to anyone I know considering a new puppy.

Attached is a current picture of our little Lexi.  As you can tell she is such a happy little thing she almost “smiles” :)
Thank you again for all you have done!

Lexi with her buddy Myles, also from Knapp Creek Acres.

Hi Everyone,   I thought I would send you this picture of Baby Sue. We bought her from March 30, 2005, so she has been with us almost 1 year. She is just 4lbs now. This is a pic of her with her new  jean jacket that her grandma bought her from Arizona.  She loves to sit on the back of the couch!  She is the best little yorkie and her grandma calls to babysit all the time. By the way my husband calls her TaterTot because she loves to play baby. Thanks for this wonderful little girl. You may post her on your picture site if you like.
Dear Knapp Creek,

Dave and I had the honor of purchasing Zeke from you in September of '05 and we want to take a moment to thank you for this wonderful addition to our household. Zeke has brought us more joy and love than we ever thought possible. It seems that Zeke's primary goal in life is to make "his people" happy. He established himself right away as Mommy's boy, but still has tons of love and affection for his Daddy!

We want to share the attached picture with you for your Paws For Pictures web page. We had taken Zeke to PetSmart that day for supplies and socialization when we spotted Santa. We absolutely couldn't resist the opportunity to document Zeke's first Christmas with us! Thank you for raising such quality pets and for making the buying experience an absolute joy! We will continue to sing your praises each time someone asks us where we got Zeke! We will also keep sending you pictures of Zeke as he grows in size and entrenches himself further into the depths of our hearts!

Hello Joe & Family,

We just wanted to send you all an e-mail update on Munch (107-595-572) he is a Yorkie we got from you in November. He is the best and cutest dog ever! He is really good and relaxed and loves to play. He is the perfect fit. Munch is in perfect health and very much the growing puppy he is already put on 2 pounds. We did notice something funny he loves to look at himself in the mirror I think he is a little vain!  We've attached a recent picture of his first Christmas. We very happy to have him and I think he's happy to have us too. Thank you very much for everything and Happy Holidays!

Hi there --

The puppy arrived very safely and she is just precious.  She is doing well so far - getting used to her surroundings.  My son received a letter from Santa to go with his parents to the airport to receive his big surprise.  He was soooo happy and just loves her.  He named her Olivia.  Attached is a picture if you want to post.  She is very healthy, and we were impressed with all the care you gave her.

Dear Joe: Just wanted to sent you a picture of our Cleo, she is now 1 year  3 months old. She brings so much pleasure to us, we love her so much. We've had him for 4 years and he really protects her. The are great companions and enjoy each others company. I wanted to thank you so much for such a wonderful puppy. We just love her so much!

Knapp Creek Family-

We purchased Prissy from you in February 2004 and Kodi in May 2004. They have been the best addition to our family. They have won second place in a Halloween costume and have been in couple of other various events around town.  They caught on to tricks like sit, lay, sit up, and roll over. They are just the perfect dogs for us. Thank you again for providing such wonderful loving dogs.

We bought our Yorkie from you in Feb. 2003 (born Dec. 2002) and we love him to death!  We are sending you a picture for you to post...... We call him our Yorkie Grande and he is an integral part of the family! Thank you!

Hi Joe and family! Update on Rilley. Her name was Richelle but we changed it to Rilley, because I didn't want the my friend to think I was calling for her all the time, (her name is Michele), sounds alot alike.  Rilley is fitting right in, she has only had a few accidents and is such a sweet heart, we love her so much! Is is such a wonderful addition to our family. Couldn't imagine not having her now! .......Thanks for such wonderful Yorkies. Have a wonderful year!

Dear Gerst & Snodgrass family,

We purchased our Yorkie from you last September.  After bringing her home we named her Maddie.  We enrolled Maddie into puppy training class where she learned very quickly to sit, lay down, stay, and drop it.  Housebreaking her was very easy and quick.  Maddie has brought us nothing but joy, love and happiness and we thank you for that.
Dear Joe & Family,
We purchased “Roxie” in December of 2002.  Roxie is very attached to our family. She loves shopping, has been to Youth Group events, and even goes to
work with me everyday. She is so intelligent & lovable and weighs 3 1/2-4 pounds. She can catch a mini Frisbee and recognizes and responds to certain words such as:
“Lunch”
“Let’s Go”
“Outside?”
“Where’s Grandma?”
“Stay”
She also has an quiet inside bark “Sounds like she’s sneezing”  So Cute… Roxie is adorable. Thanks for a quality, beautiful well breed Yorkshire…Our groomers thinks she’s a calendar dog! We have put a lot of time into training her and it has been worth it!
Hi Joe & family,
Decided to send a recent picture of Madison. She is now 2yrs and 5 months old. He parents were Gwena and Pierre and she was born December 30, 2002. Took her to the vet for her yearly check up and shots and she is 8-1/2 pounds. She is such a wonderful dog! We love her so much and she is definitely very spoiled! She brings joy and happiness to our family every day. I am still trying to talk my husband into getting another one, but he said not now with what pets we have! Which is a English Springer Spaniel, and 3 cats. But I have to say Madison does still rule the house, she is the boss when it come to the other pets. Thanks again for such a wonderful Yorkie, and I will still be working on another one with husband :o). Feel free to post Madison's new pix. Thanks again......
Hello Knapp Creek Acres!
This is our puppy Bear. He's 8 months old now. We are very happy w/  him. He's playful & loving. He's very happy w/ his new family, too.

Here are some early pics of our new family member.  It took us 3 days to decide on the best name for her, but we finally agreed on MEESHA (stands for Me SHY).  Meesha is a true treasure to us already.  We've had her only 4 days and can't imagine our family without her.  She has slept thru the night and had zero accidents since we brought her home.  Thank you!!!!!!!

Our princess, MEESHA, turns 8 months this week. She has topped out at 4 lbs so far.  She is our go girl, and not spoiled, just PAMPERED.  This is a picture of her riding in the convertible.  She LOVES the wind in her face.  She's a wonderful traveler.  She has been a real treasure to all in our family.  Thank you.

Happy New Years Knapp Creek!
Just wanted to send a little holiday cheer from our newest additions... "Maddie" and "Maisie"!  Sorry we haven't gotten around to sending you some pictures of our little angels but here is the first set of many to come...  this was the second time that my puppy met my sister's and they seem to be getting along a lot better than the first meeting (they finally learned that dragging each other around by their tails wasn't a fun game! haha!)... and they learned how to swim over the Christmas holiday!  Well may all that you wish for this holiday season be the least that you receive!

Dear Gerst and Snodgrass Families-
Here is another picture that I thought you would all enjoy seeing... it is of my little doll Maddie... and believe me she thinks she is the cutest thing in the world, especially when she wakes up every morning and goes to her closet where she pulls one of her outfits out and brings it to me... she is very fond of her pink jacket with rhinestones and her tennis shoes that match... oh yeah, she is in the process of having a Iowa Hawkeye cheerleader outfit made for her!  It has become so crazy with all of the clothes that my mom has purchased not only for mine, but my sister's little one Maisie, that she is starting her own business called "Pretty Paws" where they are going to be creating the latest yorkie fashions!  I will be sure and let you know when they are up and running so all of your yorkie lovers can have their pooch flaunting what they've got!

This is Karla’s son Bear, he is now two years old and is the love of our life. He also now has a playmate yorkie. Thank you so much for such smart dogs.
Hi Joe & Connie:

Kaden loves people, other dogs and camping in the wilderness of Canada.  He's a bundle of energy and passed Good Dog U school with flying colors. Here is another photo of Kaden and Kody.  Kaden is such a wonderful yorkie that we bought his brother from a different litter of Willie and Mileta.  You can certainly tell they are brothers from the family resemblance!  Kody is just like his brother.  He's full of energy and makes everyone he meets smile!  They are having a great time together.  Thanks again.

Joe,
Wanted to share a picture of Ginger with you.  She turned 1 in March and is the greatest little dog in the world.  I can't imagine my life without her.  Now that she's a "grown-up" it's time for a little sister.  We'll be seeing you soon.

Greetings to Gerst Family,

I just want to keep you updated on the puppy we got from you on Sept 2nd, 2004.   We decided to name him 'Kirby'.  He is doing very well, 5 months old and he already weights about 4 lbs.  I don't know if you remember him but you told us that he was really playful and would rather play than eat his food.  True enough, the first 2 weeks were tough, but I made sure he ate before he gets to play with his toys. And more good news, he's already house-trained! I attached a few current pictures of him. He is such a great puppy and everyone loves him!

Thank you for such a wonderful addition to my life.

Dear Joe and Family,

I have been meaning to write you about Bailey for a long time, but have just finally gotten around to it. We picked Bailey out at Knapp Creek as a birthday gift for my mom and he has been a wonderful addition to our family ever since. In addition, you can see his picture on the front page of Iowa State University's College of Veterinary Medicine web site. (http://www.vetmed.iastate.edu) Dad took a great picture of Bailey when he was a puppy, so I thought I'd add him to the web site that I manage. Hope you enjoy it! I've also attached a picture of the "grown-up" Bailey (with a
schnauzer-style haircut!). We adore him!! Thank you so much for our happy, healthy friend. Everyone I've talked to has had the same wonderful experience at Knapp Creek.  Thanks again!

Hi Joe and Family!

It seems like only yesterday we brought home Belle, the Yorkie and Tater Tot the pug to join our family.  They have grown so much (relatively speaking) and are such a blast to have around.  After the initial “when are they going back” period wore off for my big dog, he is quite enamored by them.  They play hard with each other- thinking we will have the toughest Yorkie in town- but are inseparable.  The Yorkie, Belle, adores my big dog Howie, and Howie is fascinated by the pug, Tater.  It is one big happy family. Thought we should send you some long overdue photos.  We love our newest family members- so glad we came home with two (most days anyway!) Thanks for breeding and rearing such great animals.  I have told all of Ames and a few people in Minnesota and Illinois about you and your family business.  You have a lot to be proud of and I know a former professor, now fellow colleague just purchased an English Bulldog from you and is very pleased (Dr. Merkley).   Take care, have a wonderful holiday season and keep up the good work.  I know where we will come for our dogs from now on!  We are moving to an acreage west of Ames and will have more dogs someday…the three we have will love to run and play in the big yard!

I got a puppy from you in May (the 25th) sent to Calif. By the way, my Penelope is a great camper/fishing dog. I'll send photos of that when I get them back. Here is some of her here at home.

Thought I would send you a Few photos of my babies Penelope & Pocket. From the Fourth of July and Pockets 1st birthday 8/6. I wish I could have been able to send some of my sweet Sammie it's her birthday too : (  today , We miss her a lot. You sure have some cuties right now. Like I tell everyone if I could, I would have a hundred yorkie's they are so fun!  YES you may use their photos on your web page. Hope all is well with your families, take care.

Hello,

Hope everyone is doing well.   Just thought we would send you a picture of our little Stella.  She's five months old now and quite the little character.  This is a picture of her and her new sister Phoebe our Maltese.  They make quite the pair.  We are very happy with Stella.  She's healthy and happy and quite the hand full.
Hi Joe, Our Yorkie, Tessa, weighs 5 lbs. and will be a year old Oct. 3. She is full of energy and is very spoiled. She is very loveable and friendly and hates to be alone. She sleeps right between Gary and I at night and wouldn't have it any other way. She has a funny talent that we are sending to America's Funniest Home Video's and if she gets on T.V., we will be sure to let you know.

Hi Joe,
Here is a  couple pictures of our little guy Frank!  He is almost a year and 9 months old now and just over 10 pounds, though he doesn't seem it.  He is our buddy and is loved by all, including his Grandma and Grandpa....he is know as the Grandpuppy.  Thanks for breeding such great puppies!

Joe-

We wanted to send you a picture of our little Maddie.  In this picture she is with her big sis, who she loves.  They have become the best of friends. Maddie is the highlight of our day.  She is a year old now and she weighs 4 pounds.  She is finally potty trained.  She goes to the door and scratches and barks.  We are very happy with her and wouldn't trade her for anything.  Thanks so much for this perfect addition to our family.
Hi Joe and Family,

It's been two years since we brought Coco home and she is indeed a highlight in our home.  As you see she lives with her buddy Scooter who is also two.  Coco is a big girl at 12 pounds but you'd never know it to look at her.  But she still thinks she's the fastest and
bravest dog on the block, well faster okay.  If we could have three dogs the third would also be a yorkie as they are such a wonderful addition to any family.  Thanks again.

Dear Joe and Family,
I just wanted to send you a picture of our little Cody (or, my 'Little Peanut', as I like to call him!).  We picked him up from you the day after Christmas 2003 and he was the BEST Christmas present EVER!  Cody is now 8 months and tips the scales at 5 ½ pounds and holding.  Cody loves to play outside and play tug-of-war and chase with his toys.  One of the cutest things about him is he always has his tongue sticking out (as you can see in one of the pictures!).  He LOVES getting an ice cream treat with a biscuit at the Dairy Queen and everywhere we take him, people stop us to pet him and hold him!  We have relatives that will call us just to see how he is doing and won't even ask about us!  I have so many pictures of him and talk about him all the time.  We love him so much and thank you for such a wonderful addition to our home!
Hi Joe and Family,
I just wanted to send you some updated, recent photos of our little Cody.  He was born October 27th, 2003 and he now weighs around 6 ½ lbs.  We just love him so much and don't know what we would do without him!  Thanks again!

Hi,
Here is a picture of Emma, she is 3 1/2 months old and 1.7 pounds.  She is the cutest puppy ever and she knows it, especially after she goes to the groomer and comes home with a pink bow in her hair.  We love her very much and are thinking she will probably need a sister to play with after she is full grown.  Thanks for the great puppy, I'm sure we'll be back for her sister soon!
Dear Joe and family,

Finally I have found the time to write you a note about how my little Harley is doing. What can I say, I love him more than I ever thought I could. He is the best decision I have ever made. Harley is now 5 months old and whopping 2 pounds!  He is very smart and practically potty-trained, he scratches at the door when has to go potty.  He is quite the little escape artist too -- he has climbed a baby gate and escaped from his crate....quite an adventurous little guy. He loves to play with his toys, bigger dogs, and kids.

Thanks for everything.

Dear Joe,

Here is a picture of the Krahl Gang - Gracie, Dexter and Emma. We bought both the girls from you. Gracie turns two next month and Emma turns one next month. Dexter is 6 1/2 years old. They all get along great. Emma tries so hard to get Dexter to play with him. Frisbee is their favorite playtime sport. Dexter and Emma have bonded by being on squirrel patrol. Emma's latest thing is also to bird watch. If she sees a bird or squirrel you better watch out - she's fast. We can't thank you enough for all the love and joy the girls have brought us. If it was up to my husband we would have another one.

This is Gabe @ 3 months old.  We are THOROUGHLY enjoying him.  What a good dog he is!!!!  His ears popped up!!!

I'm just so proud of Gabe wanted to share a few more shots.  He is 5 months old now and has really gained a personality.  Our family is so happy with him!!!!!  Gabe also seems happy to be with us!!!  I've mentioned your nursery to many different people.  Everyone falls in love with him as soon as they seem him, well wouldn't you!!!  Take Care!!

Today is Frisco and Bandit's 2nd Birthday.  In honor of this special day Frisco wanted to look at your website to remind him of his birth.  After viewing the website he asked us to send you a few pictures of him and his brother.  We brought Frisco and Bandit home a year ago last May in a little shoe box.  We kept Frisco for ourselves and gave Bandit to my Mom for her birthday.  They like to chase balls and wrestle whenever they get a chance to see each other.  Frisco lives with his older sister Lucy, a black lab, while Bandit lives with his older brother Snickers, an almost 17 year old yorkie.  They both have brought much joy to our lives (although Lucy points out that Frisco is frequently naughty).

Hi, my name is Kiya, and I am girl. I weigh 5 pounds and I am 1 year old as of January 15, 2004. My parents were Herrin Heidi & Herr Von Fritzgerald of Knappcreek. I want to say I just love my new home! I have everything a dog could dream of. I have a wonderful Mommy & Daddy that love me to pieces. I have a huge fenced in back yard and lots of toys to play with. I am....Yep, you're right SPOILED ROTTEN! But look at me, how could they not spoil me. I love going outside to sunbath in the summer time on my deck, it gets hot but I love it. One of my favorite things to do is chasing squirrels when they are running down my fence. I go crazy, they tease me so bad but one of these days I tell you I will get them! Another thing that I love to do when I have to go outside to potty is having my Mommy & Daddy chase me around the yard a bit before I decided to go back in the house, wonder what the neighbors think when they see them running after me to catch me but can't....hehehe! My best friend is Madison, a Yorkie also that came from Knappcreek, if you look in the Knappcreek photo's you will find her in there. We get together a lot. I either go to her house or she comes over to my house. When I go to Maddie's she always shares all of her toys, but when she comes to my house I hide my toys by myself because I am not up for sharing my toys with anyone. But we still have a lot of fun running around and chasing each other. Well Mommy said it is her turn to type, so bye bye.
Joe & family, Thank You So Much for such a wonderful puppy that we got from you. She is a Daddies girl though, and you said she probably would be. Can't even believe that she is a year old already! Thanks again for the time you let us spend visiting while picking out our puppy.
Joe & Family,
We wanted to write you a quick e-mail and give you and update on our yorkie Jinx, we purchased her on January 16th, 2004. What a joy she has been. In the short time that we have had her she has won over everyone's heart in our house mainly our 7 year old Yellow Labrador Chelsea. As you can see by the pictures they have grown quite close. In the three weeks that she has joined our household she has been on several trips with my husband and myself, she has been to St. Louis, MO & Kansas City Mo. and through the Midwest Area, she travels quite well and she loves her bag that I carry her in. I just wanted to say thank you for such a wonderful Yorkie. We will be back this spring to purchase a male. My husband and I have always had Labs but since Jinx has joined our family we both agreed we will always have Yorkies from this point forward. Please feel free to post any of Jinx's Pictures. Again we thank you for Jinx!!!!
I named the baby Sophie Truffles of Knappcreek.  She's beautiful without a doubt.  Intelligent, funny, loving.  She was 1 year old on New Year's Eve '03, and we still have a few problems with potty training, but I wouldn't trade her for the world! "Come" is also a when-I-feel-like-it command!!  Her favorite game is toss and retrieve the stuffed animal (again & again & again) whereupon she finally shakes the daylights out of it, and when it's "dead" pushes it away with her foot.  Old breed habit from chasing vermin?? Speaking of breed standards, she meets all of them.  She is perfection -- but then, would be loved no matter what!  Thank you to the Gerst clan for lovingly giving us our precious babes!

Picture taken by John Kadlec Photography.

Hi Gerst Family:
Just wanted to share an update with you and thank you for all the time you gave us last Saturday.  Jasmine did wonderfully in the car ride home! She was and still is extremely predictable with pottying.  But, wow, what a difference a day makes -- she is much more lively and spunky today and has even mastered the stairs into the house, and it is so fun to watch her personality emerge. At night, she only cries for a few minutes and settles right down. She had her first doctor appointment and I must pass on that our vet commented on how great he thought your vaccination schedule was and how obvious your care of her was.  Everyone in the clinic thought she was the cutest yorkie they've seen in a long time. Of course, we gave them one of your cards!  Again, thank you. We are enjoying our new arrival!

Here's a picture of our little Snickers. He's been a joy and we love him!

Joe & Connie-

This is our Christmas picture of Kenze, Kielyn & Kaci with our puppy Izabel.  Izabel has been the best little puppy.  The girls enjoy taking her for walks as Izabel attracts a lot of attention!  Somebody is always stopping them asking about our puppy.  Izabel is such a friendly little puppy.  We sure enjoy our little addition to our family!

Hi Joe. We love our new puppy. We have named her Tessa. She is very smart and has been easy to potty train. She is 2 lbs. now and 2 1/2 months old. She has made our Christmas special this year. When we decide to get a second puppy, it will be from you. Thank you and have Happy Holidays.
Hi Thanks for the info Laci is doing ok. Here she is basking in the sun! She really is a great puppy.....

....She really is a little pistol. She is the sweetest puppy I've ever had, we really enjoy her. She loves to ride in the car. Thanks for all your help.

Hello Joe and family,

Just sending you a couple of pictures of Rainee. He will be 6 months old Dec. 11th.  Even though I have two other yorkies (older ones),  Rainee is my heart. I don't know what I would do with out him, he has grown on me fast. But he is a smart pup and loves to play.  I just wanted to say thank you. We enjoy him a lot. Can't do with out him now.

Thank you.

Hi Joe,   Here is Oslo Lapplander with his best friend. Our 10 year old rottweiler loves him! They have become good buddies. This is how they sleep! I think Oslo thinks Harley is his dad. Things are going great with the puppy. Thanks again for our new family member!
Connie and Joe-

Here is a picture of our little guy, Spencer. We
picked him up last week and already love him lots!
Thank you so much!

"Sebastian"

We love our puppy. We loved him so much we came back to get another one! When we get pictures, (of them both) we will send them in.

Here is photo of our Lucy. She is now 5 months old and her weight is 2 ½ lbs. She has brought a lot of happiness to our home and we enjoy her very much.
Dear Joe & Family,

This is a picture of Jak (Jack) at 1 year old.  He was my Christmas present 2002, picked him up the day after Christmas. He likes to tear up paper towels and doesn't think he is doing anything wrong! Can you tell he is so innocent.  He is such a big boy now at a whopping 8 pounds.  Spoiled, yes.  Do we care, no. So brave, jealous, and what a ball drive.  Thank you again for your quality.

Joe and family,

Here is a picture of our baby, we took him home June 2002.  His name is Vinnie, and his mom is Emma, and father is Alvin.  He is the best dog ever, and he knows it too:)  He is 10lbs and holding.  He is obviously a shy dog because he hardly ever barks.  He is good at making his noises if he wants something.  He loves his new house in Fairfax.  This picture shows him and his baby cow that he likes to sleep and play with:)  Thanks for everything!

Joe, Connie and family,

Well we were there on Labor Day and picked up Dude as he is loving known. We have of course falling hopelessly in love with him and as you can see from the pictures, he has lots of love to share.  This is just one of my Big dogs that Dude has as a friend.

Hi Joe and Connie, This is a picture of Ted E. Bear (Teddy for short), whom we got from you in May.  He is so wonderful and so much fun! He is definitely one of the family.  We cannot imagine our home without him! Thank You for making it possible to get him!!!!
Hi,

Just wanted to email and let you know we are getting along fine. Mr. Pepper is 7 months now and we just love his company so much. He is quite a character and always into trouble. He has the neighbors eating out of his hand also. We keep thinking he needs a friend so maybe sometime soon.

Hello Joe and Family!

Just wanted to pop you a small note and photo of Mac.  He is doing great.  And has turned out to be the greatest little guy ever!  He is so smart, and well trained.  He doesn’t even need a leach (he usually has one anyway) he just stays right with us.  He loves his weekly walks by the river, and gets so excited when we ask him if he’s “ready to go”  He is just over a year old now, and weighs 5 lbs.  Everyone thinks he is such the cutest thing ever…we even hung his photo in the vets office! Hope you enjoy the photos.

We just picked Tucker up two weeks ago. He has a great personality, loves to play and snuggle.  He was well worth the 4 1/2 hour drive from Chicago to Amana!  We are so thankful for him, he has made our lives much sweeter.

Thank you!

Dear Joe and family,
I've attached two pictures of our puppy Rocco at 7 months.  He has a wonderful personality and loves to play!  His favorite activities are going for our daily walk and running in the back yard.  He has been a great addition to our family.  Thanks again!
Hi Joe and family! Just wanted you to see your puppies at their home. Parker is almost 1 year and Max is 10 months. They bring us unlimited joy and happiness. My mother also got a puppy from you and she loves him so much she takes him every where with her. I'm attaching pictures of my 2 and also 1 of my mom's which she named Murfee. Thanks so much for the wonderful companions!!
Hi Joe and family!!   This is our little princess Brooke and her friend Rachael.  They were entered in a photo contest and won 3rd place locally here in Clinton.  She has brought alot of happiness to our lives since we brought her home in March and we are thinking maybe next year we are going to come back and get another one.  We visit your site often and fall in love all over again with her.  Once again we thank you and hope to be visiting soon.
Dear Joe & family, This is Madison (Miss Maddie May) at 8 months. We just love her! We have 3 cats and 1 other dog and she rules the house ha-ha! She is such a wonderful addition to our family, everyone in our house spoils her, how could you not look at that face! She was a breeze to train her, one day I put bells on some yarn I braided and hung it on the sliding door and showed her how to ring them and ever since then she has been ringing them to go out side. Thanks so much for a wonderful dog, we just hope when it's time for another Yorkie that you are still in the business.
Dear Joe and Family,
Here is our baby Lord Cuddle Bear better known as Hobo. He has given great joy to George and myself. He is a very healthy happy puppy not to mention very spoiled! We are in high hopes of purchasing our next one from you in the near future. Many Thanks for such a wonderful little ball of joy!!

....his name is Mikee and he really has changed our life not only me and my girlfriend but my entire family, thanks for everything....

This is Stella. She was bought a couple days before Gracie. She is such a cutie.

This is Gracie. We got her the day after Christmas. She is the best dog anyone could ask for - she's our little princess. Gracie just turned a year old the 28th of May.

Hello Joe & Family ~

We got our puppy from you in July .  He is a great addition to our family.  We don't remember how we got along before him. Here's a picture of Tucker at six months.

Dear Joe and family,
Thursday was CoCo's first birthday! (My husband) says everyday is CoCo's birthday. Is she a tad spoiled, yes; would we have it any other way, no. She has done well, she's as fast as the wind and loves to play. True to her nature is very intelligent. And also very loving. We are well pleased with her and naturally she is the head of the family.

Just wanted to let you and Amy know that we named our little guy JINX.  Here is a picture taken last week....
